Wellness & Recreation

Welcome to the WRC!

Located on Georgia College & State University’s West Campus, the Wellness and Recreation Center is a hub for Bobcat activity. The Wellness and Recreation Center was built in 2011 as a LEED Certified Building. The 100,000 square foot building is home to three Georgia College & State University departments:  Wellness and Recreation, Student Health Services and Counseling Services. 

The Department of Wellness and Recreation offers a wide variety of activities, programs, and options for fitness, organized intramural & club sports, free-play sports, health and wellness, and outdoor adventures; as well as Health Promotion and American Red Cross training. 

The WRC facility is available for use by currently enrolled Georgia College & State University students who pay the appropriate building and health fees. Non-fee paying GCSU students, full-time benefit eligible GCSU faculty and staff, GCSU retirees & alumni, and area community members, over the age of 18 years, are eligible to purchase memberships.
